Weave – the new look Working Together More Fund (WTMF)

Weave is a collaboration of eight Family Foundations from around Aotearoa New Zealand that helps groups work together to achieve greater outcomes for their communities. While the focus on supporting community collaborations remains the same as when the Fund was established ten years ago, we have adopted a new proactive funding approach and created a collaboration hub.

The name ‘Weave’ refers to the great things that can be achieved if we weave our work together: delivering higher quality initiatives; running more services; increasing support for our people and communities; and achieving long-term positive change for generations to come.

Weave supports collaborations through donations and access to resources – helping to build capacity and knowledge within organisations so they can come together to make even greater change.

Until the end of 2020, WTMF ran three grant rounds a year. Now, Weave supports organisations in a more holistic and proactive way. We accept Expressions of Interest and actively seek out collaborative initiatives, instead of requiring a formal application.

At Weave, we build trusted relationships and partner with collaborating organisations in a meaningful way so that together we can make positive change to support our communities.
