On 19 September 1893, after the suffragists submitted a petition with nearly 32,000 signatures New Zealand became the first country in which women could vote. St John of God Hauora Trust: Social Housing Creates HOPE for Young Whānau
In 2015, St John of God Hauora Trust (SJGHT) launched a new project called HOPE, or Housing Opportunities for Parental Enhancement, in Christchurch.
